At first glance, Melbourne looked a lot like San Francisco. The skyline of downtown had about the same number of skyscrapers. People seemed just as busy. But, actually, this is a town of almost 4 million people. I haven't really left the city center much, but Melbourne must really sprawl outward into the burbs. What makes this so cool? People everywhere!
Friendly people, and so many of them! Our first day of field work during the Art Of Rapport was a huge success. Women were in true abundance.
Anyone looking for a nice vacation, I highly recommend this town.

Melbourne is such a great city. No one believes me when I tell them. Lots of pretty Asian girls, nice true blue Aussies, lots of cold beer, and great food too - especially the dim sum (yumcha) and those Greek pastry shops. I wish I could have spent my Aussie years there and not in Adelaide & Sydney.
